Questions, related to the structural features of columnar vehicles which allow to increase the height of foamy layer on the tubular grates of vehicles, are considered in the article, here, not increasing speed of gas stream. Developed by us a contact element has good indexes for the wide range of loadings on a liquid and gas. The methods of calculation described in the article fully confirm experimental researches and well correlate with the before conducted researches
