The article conserns the issues of separation of mineral and organic impurities, which are considered hard-separable, because of their physical size.
The rules of the organization and conduction of the process at milling plants regulate stricktly the amount of impurities in grain. For example, in grain incoming from the elevator and warehouses to screening department of the milling plant the content of impurities should not exceed 2%, including harmful impurities which should be less than 0.2%.
The methods of separation of hard-separable grain mixtures used at grain processing enterprises were considered. A classification of methods of separation was suggested. The pneumatic, vibropneumatic and hydraulic methods were described. The schemes and stages of pneumatic, vibropneumatic methods were described. The physical part of the process of separation in vibroseparator was studied. It was identified that the result of the process of separation depends on the distance of solid particles and the speed of the grain flow. For the further research the method of vibropneumatic separation of hard-separable mixtures that give the greatast efficiency from the considered ones was chosenReferences
