Structural and parametric synthesis of energy-efficient pneumatic actuators

The article concerns the increase of energy efficiency of pneumatic actuators and the possibility of their practical usage in conditions of large inertial load. The problem of expansion of pneumatic actuators field of use is solved at the expense of new method of braking by changing the structure of commutation connections. The advantage of this method over the traditional method of throttle braking was demonstrated. The problem of reduction of unproductive power inputs in pneumatic actuators was solved at the expense of structural synthesis of the efficient scheme of pneumatic actuator as well as parametric synthesis. In addition, the field of reasonable usage of suggested pneumatic actuators schemes was determined. Such approach in early designing allows to evaluate the appropriateness of usage of suggested methods of braking in specific conditions of pneumatic actuator functioning.References
