Нові багатофункціональні бромактивні полімери: синтез, властивості та антимікробна активність

Зростання частоти та масштабів епідемій інфекційних захворювань придає надзвичайної актуальності розробці нових технологій антисептичної та дезінфекційної обробки різних середовищ та матеріалів/реагентів для їх здійснення. Перспективними в цьому плані є антимікробні полімерні матеріали різної хімічної будови, у тому числі такі, що містять галогенактивні функціональні групи.
Ця робота присвячена синтезу та дослідженню властивостей гранульних та волокнистих полімерних матеріалів з іммобілізованими N-бромсульфонамідними групами різної будови. Показано, що в якості полімера-носія можуть бути використані сополімери стиролу з дивінілбензолом і поліпропіленом. Розроблено методику, що дозволяє одержувати полімери із вмістом до 23% іммобілізованого активного брому. Відповідність синтезованих матеріалів декларованій структурі доведено методом ІЧ-спектроскопії та комплексом хімічних методів. Спостерігається зниження міцності одержаних полімерів порівняно з вихідними носіями, особливо у випадку волокон. Стабільність синтезованих полімерів при зберіганні нижче, ніж описаних раніше хлорактивних аналогів. Для кількісного визначення активного брому в цільових матеріалах розроблено методику, засновану на швидкій його дифузії з полімеру в розчин таурину. Мікробіологічні дослідження показали, що синтезовані полімери мають виражену антимікробну активність, яка вища, ніж у іммобілізованих N-хлорсульфонамідів та проявляється навіть у присутності значного органічного навантаження.
Сукупність досліджених характеристик синтезованих полімерів з іммобілізованими N-бромсульфонамідними групами дозволяє припустити перспективність їх використання як компонентів антисептичних перев'язувальних матеріалів, антимікробних фільтрів, пристроїв для одержання антисептичних розчинів та інших виробів медичного призначення
