Perfection of the system of further training of coaches in Ukraine

Purpose: to investigate the process of further training of coaches in Ukraine.
Material & Methods: analysis of scientifically-methodical literature concerning long-term preparation of sportsmen, orders on approval of Statute about further training of trainers, curriculum of Advanced Training Faculty of Kharkiv State Academy of Physical Culture and organization of process of exercises.
Results: the aspects of preparedness of a coach and their content on the stages of long-term preparation of sportsmen are determined. The system of further training of coaches in Ukraine, content of curriculum of Advanced Training Faculty in Kharkiv State Academy of Physical Culture and sequence of realization of process of further training of coaches of 1 and 2 categories are presented in the work.
Conclusions: further training is inalienable part of the system of perfection of coachers’ work. Combination of all disciplines referred to forming of training bases as single unit of pedagogical process must be taken into account in a curriculum of Advanced Training Faculty. The sequence of realization of process of further training of coaches should have following algorithm of actions: exposure of level of knowledge of coaches (conversations, testing, analysis); adjustments of content of employments on different subjects; realization of studies (mainly in a debatable form), preparation of report and realization of the repeated testing; realization of examination; execution of certificate about further training.
