Policy on the use of artificial intelligence and technologies supported by artificial intelligence
For authors
All articles submitted for review are checked for the use of artificial intelligence (AI) tools at all stages of review. The journal does not allow the use of AI tools for generating the text of the article, statistical or other processing of research results, compiling a literature review, or generating images. However, the use of AI tools is allowed for grammatical or stylistic checking of the text of the article, creating images based on author data (for example, graphs or tables based on the source data provided by the authors of the article), and finding sources for the literature review.
Any result obtained using AI tools must be carefully checked by the authors of the article and declared when sending the article to the editorial office of the journal "Social Work and Education". The declaration must be detailed and contain the name and model of the AI tool, the purpose of use, a description of the authors' verification of the results obtained. Verification of results obtained using AI tools is mandatory. The authors are responsible for the accuracy of all material presented in the article.
Undeclared and/or excessive use of AI tools may result in refusal to publish the article. If such a violation is detected after the article is published, the procedure for retracting published articles will be applied.
For editors and reviewers
Editors and reviewers are prohibited from using AI tools during article review and peer review. Uploading an article to AI tools may violate its confidentiality, which is contrary to the editorial policy.
Any comments and remarks aimed at eliminating errors in order to bring the article into compliance with the journal's requirements or those relating to the substantive part of the article must be written by editors and reviewers without any use of AI tools.
