Material archiving policy

All issues of the magazine are archived and stored in the National Library of Ukraine named after V. I. Vernadskyi, Kyiv, Ukraine.

Open Journal Systems supports the PKP system (PKP Preservation Network, PKP PN). This service, developed by the PKP (Public Knowledge Project) team, is intended for the digital storage of archived content of scientific journals that use the Open Journal Systems platform for their websites.

The PKP PN network is integrated with the well-known scientific information storage service LOCKSS (Lots of Copies Keep Stuff Safe), which guarantees decentralized and distributed storage, continuous access and preservation of the original version of the content. The PKP Preservation Network provides the possibility of long-term preservation of logs that are not part of other digital archiving services (for example, CLOCKSS or Portico).

LOCKSS - is an open-accessed software tool developed at the Stanford University Library that allows libraries to archive individual journals. The tool regularly monitors the websites of these journals for new published content and ensures that this content is archived. Each archive is constantly checked for consistency with the others. If the content is found to be damaged or lost, other archives are used to restore it.
