Archiving and long-term preservation policy in open access, including information on repositories, technical means, and accessibility guarantees
The journal ensures the long-term digital preservation and free access to all published materials, adhering to the principles of open access and academic integrity in scholarly publishing, through the following tools:
- repositories:
Real-time full-text access to all journal publications is provided via the ‘Archives’ section on the journal’s official website. The archive contains all issues and individual articles of the journal with no storage time limit. In addition, the journal stores its metadata and full-text articles in the repository of the National Academy of Culture and Arts Management. To ensure protection against data loss, the journal’s electronic archive is transferred for storage to the V. I. Vernadsky National Library of Ukraine of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine;
- technical resources:
All journal materials are archived in stable electronic formats that ensure their accessibility, reproducibility, and correct citation in the future: metadata and full texts of publications can be indexed in national and international information and scientometric systems. The journal backs up its issues and monitors technological aspects to prevent potential format conversions or software obsolescence;
- accessibility guarantees:
The journal uses persistent file formats (PDF/A) to ensure the readability of scientific content, assigns a DOI to each document, guaranteeing its discoverability; adheres to OpenAIRE standards to ensure indexing. The journal’s materials are available free of charge in specialised databases (the journal’s website, the website of the National Academy of Culture and Arts Management, V. I. Vernadsky National Library of Ukraine of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, and others).
