The article analyses the features of the model of the national memory, represented by historiographycal discourse of 1920-th. Images of historical events and key personalities of intellectual Ukrainian space are considered as attempts of compromising and adaptation of the model of the national memory to the sociopolitical processes of the Ukrainization.
