The paper considers some aspects of the choral oeuvre of Ye. Stankovych in the context of the contemporary historical and cultural process. The spiritual choral oeuvre of the composer was found to correspond to the demands of time, in particular, in the processes of the spiritual renaissance of Ukraine as well as to the processes of neofolklorisation and establishment of the novel music. It is appropriate to the contemporary music arts in the appeal to eternal topics and in the perspective of polystylistic trends (neoromanticism, neoimpressionism, and neobaroque).Downloads
