The article analyzes the state of the USSR regional TV broadcasting centers in the framework of local broadcasting organization. The history and conditions of the Soviet broadcasting centralized system in the light of regional TV reduction are highlighted. The link between contradictions of broadcasting development in the USSR and problems of the current online mass media are investigated
