In the article deals with musicological and cinematological interpretations devoted to dramaturgic functions of film-music. During the review of literature were found varying approaches of classification and systematization. In the author's view-known works the 1930s of the twentieth century, Soviet and Western authors until contemporary explorations Ukrainian scientists.
