The author proposed comparative-typological analysis of songs "Do not sing me the song…" in the works of Ukrainian composers of the 20th century. He defined the common and distinctive features of this works on the music-intonation level. Author indicated the field of possible interpretations of the poem by Lesya Ukrainka in the works of Ukrainian composers. He laid the foundation of the genre-typological structure of chamber-vocal works by Ukrainian composers, written over the poetry of Lesia Ukrainka.
