Abstract

This paper reviewed the specificity of demonological concept of Ukrainians. In the sphere of demonological ideas of Ukrainians the feminine priority is clearly defined. Particular attention was paid to the popular mythology concept in characterization of witches as well as ‘the general concept of witches’ in Ukrainian folklore was studied.
