SCIENTIFIC AND LOCAL RESEARCHES AS A BASE IN THE WORK OF HISTORICAL AND CULTURAL RESERVES OF CHERKASY REGION

The article deals with the problem of the scientific and local researches in the working of the national and state historical and cultural reserves of Cherkasy region. The methodology of the research and the main regional editions are analyzed. Among the science that studies the relationship and interaction of the events that occurred in different periods in the area, particularly the local lore, which is a collection of scientific disciplines with different content and separate methods.
It forms a powerful scientific movement to promote the knowledge about one or the other edge or region. Our region is connected with a lot of memorable events in national history, the life and activity of outstanding personalities of Ukraine, including Bohdan Khmelnytsky and Taras Shevchenko. The four national, three state historical and cultural reserves, there are the twenty three museums of the state and communal ownership, all of them keep and enhance the cultural heritage of the region.
The scientific and local researches in national and state historical and cultural reserves are highly relevant, because occupy a leading place in the national-cultural revival of the sovereign Ukraine and are pillars of the state. There are no studies which analyze the activity of the reserves in the modern scientific historiography.
The aims of this article are to analyze the scientific-regional activities of the national and state historical and cultural reserves of Cherkasy region, to research methodology and to discuss the main regional editions.
Museum staff conducted a comprehensive study of the history of towns and villages of Cherkasy region, published the regional history literature. The marketing and analytical research of the tourist and excursion routes and the demand for visits to historical and cultural monuments are Conducted. On the basis of reserves and museums the memory lessons, lectures to students on local history topics, including the study of the customs and rites of the Ukrainian people are organized.
From the beginning of its origins the research work of historians was aimed at studying the secret pages of the history of towns and villages, the life and work of famous fellow of the history of the individual aspects of social and economic life, the protection and preservation of historical and cultural monuments of the region. The results of years of researches is the implementation of various forms of local history, the local history readings, meetings, the preparation of presentations and exhibitions and the radio broadcasts.
A peculiar result of local history research is not only the Region but the whole of Ukraine, was the first Ukrainian Congress of museums, dedicated to the 200th anniversary of the birth of T. G. Shevchenko, which was held from 13 to 17 September 2010 in Cherkassy. The Congress was organized by the Department of culture and tourism of Cherkasy regional state administration and regional the Museum of local history. The founders developed new regional editions, including "The Development of museums in Cherkasy" and "Cherkasy cultural and tourist". The nineteen regions of Ukraine and Kyiv delegated 154 participants (51-of the regions of Ukraine, 103 representatives of the Museum and the local history of Cherkasy region) to take part in the work of the Congress.
Summarizing, you can make such conclusions that the studying of local history of each region is the basic of the General history of Ukraine. In Cherkasy we didn’t only save the local tradition, but we updated the methodology of their research and formed an innovative approach to highlight the results of this work through the publication of popular scientific and journalistic literature, organizing and conducting exhibitions, seminars, meetings and other cultural events. So it is necessary in the in the cities and districts of the region to continue the studying of the local history, its prominent figures, to preserve and enhance the spiritual heritage of our region.Downloads
