The article deals with the peculiarities of "cultural code" as a communication and sign system associated with the collection, storage and broadcast information. It is based on the work of French and American structuralists and pragmatics of sign systems through which discloses various cultural phenomena. Proceedings of the representatives of the Tartu-Moscow semiotic school, headed by Yuri Lotman aimed at identifying the structural elements and principles of their use in local sign systems and texts.
