THE CULTURAL CAPITAL AS A COMPONENT OF MODERN STATE

The article analyzes the social and cultural situation in the country, conceptualizes cultural transformation. It also actualizes question of rethinking the mechanisms of interaction of the state with various actors of cultural life. Special attention is focused on the theoretical understanding of the concept of "cultural capital". The author reveals the essence of the content of its components, namely human and social capital, defines their role and importance in the national cultural capital.
