Abstract

The purpose of the article is to analyze, and systematize the experience of application of modern pneumatic tools for stage space design. The methodological basis of the study is the systematic analysis. Pneumatic constructions and products as a component of the artistic process in the field of stage art are being studied from the scientific point of view for the first time, which determines the scientific novelty of the research. The following conclusions are established: in the performing arts, airborne structures perform architectural and scenic functions; they have such advantages as compactness, mobility, versatility, low cost, easy upgrading, speed of assembly and disassembly, and others. Depending on the filler and the composition of the shell, they have different stages of use. Stage aerodynamic means can be classified into the static (pneumo-decorations, furniture, latex and vinyl bullets) and
the dynamic (aerostats, pneumatic hangars, air guns, pneumatic suits, fire simulators, zorb, aerosols, pneumatic robots).
