Research of the role of cultural institutionsin economic development of regional infrastructure

The purpose of the article. The research is devoted to the substantiation of the role of the cultural component in the economic development of regional infrastructure in the long run and the context of the formation of the cultural policy of the region. Methodology. The methodological basis is general scientific methods of investigation: analysis, comparisons. The theoretical basis is the research of domestic and foreign scholars on the problems of regional development. Scientific novelty of the study consists in the scientific substantiation of the theoretical positions on the formation and evolution of local infrastructure, the creation of a single cultural area of the region, including the possibility of combining cultural initiatives, sociocultural partnership, interregional and international cultural contacts, which have the high potential for regional development. Conclusions. The components of the local development infrastructure are characterized, which together ensure the economic growth of the regions; the priority directions of research on the development of regional infrastructure are determined; the necessity of local economic development was taking into account the cultural component is shown.
