The problem of Development of Cultural policy in Ukraine in the Context of the National Cultural Space

Abstract

The purpose of the study is to examine the importance of the development of cultural policy in Ukraine in the context of the national cultural space. The methodology of the research is based on a set of methods of analysis, synthesis, comparative. Historical and retrospective methods provided the disclosure of the problem of the development of cultural policy in Ukraine in the context of the national cultural space in the historical context. The article is devoted to the study of the state of development of cultural policy in Ukraine in the context of the national cultural space. The main research approaches to the problem of cultural policy development are presented. The actual definition of the concept of development of the national cultural space is proposed. The scientific novelty consists in identifying the interpretations of the notion of "cultural policy" that propose variants of the implementation of the state cultural policy and demonstrate the possibility of a culture without strict control by government agencies, offering different ways of attracting non-state investments into the sphere of culture. Conclusions. Cultural policy depends on two most important conditions: first, on the development of culture in accordance with its nature, the basic laws and solutions to the challenges facing it; secondly, the existence of a relationship between the concept of development and management in culture with the concept of the formation of a new society, its political, economic and spiritual spheres.
