Ukrainian Show Business during the Russian-Ukrainian War: Forms of Presentation of Artistic Activity

Abstract

The purpose of the research is to investigate and analyse the forms of presentation of artistic activity in Ukrainian show business during the Russian-Ukrainian war, highlighting the ways in which artists have adapted to new challenges and showed their support for Ukraine. The research methodology. The research uses a comprehensive approach that combines qualitative analysis of empirical data (public performances, interviews, statements of artists) and case studies of specific forms of artistic activity during the war. Content analysis methods were also used to identify the main trends and themes in show business. Scientific novelty. The work is one of the first attempts to comprehensively investigate the transformation of Ukrainian show business in wartime conditions. It highlights new forms of artistic activity that arose as a response to the challenges of the war, and examines their role in maintaining the Ukrainian spirit and international solidarity with Ukraine. Conclusions. The study demonstrates that Ukrainian show business has undergone significant changes during the war, adapting to new realities. The artists were actively involved in volunteer activities, charity concerts, support of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, and informational opposition to Russian propaganda. Show business has become an important tool of cultural resistance and preservation of national identity in wartime conditions. In addition, the work analyses how artists have used their popularity and influence to spread reliable information about the situation in Ukraine and attract international support. Special attention is paid to new forms of artistic activity in the online space, which allows artists to continue their creative activity even under martial law. The study also highlights the role of Ukrainian artists in strengthening the nation's morale and supporting the military on the frontlines. The work demonstrates how Ukrainian show business has become a powerful voice of Ukraine on the world stage, calling for solidarity and support in the fight against Russian aggression.
