The purpose of the article is to analyse and systematise journalistic and scientific studies on the problems of the functioning of the Ukrainian theatre during the war of 2022–2024. Research methodology. The historical and chronological principle, methods of analysis, comparison, systematisation and theoretical generalisation were applied. Scientific novelty. For the first time, the panorama of the publicistic and scientific discourse of the Ukrainian drama theatre after Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine is recreated. Conclusions. The study of the journalistic and scientific discourse of Ukrainian theatre during the war is important for understanding the current state of the performing arts, identifying current problems and prospects for understanding the theatre sphere. The following groups of printed journalistic discourse can be distinguished quite conditionally: popular science magazines on theatrical topics (Proscenium, Ukrainian Theatre, Kino-Theatr); socio-political media, in particular, online publications (Ukrainska Pravda. Life, Suspilne. Culture, Ukrainian Week magazine); specialised information websites (ProTeatr); blogs about theatre life in Ukraine (Theatre Fishing). An important element of journalistic discourse is audio (podcasts) and video resources (videos on YouTube). The scientific printed discourse of contemporary Ukrainian theatre is at the stage of formation, with a small number of scientific articles compared to journalistic ones (K. Yudova-Romanova; E. Skrypnyk, O. Moshkina, Y. Zarichna; H. Sukhomlyn, Y. Tsyvata, A. Chornoivan; Y. Bentia, P. Shopin). A significant part of the materials draws attention to the influence of war traumatic experience on artistic decisions, as well as to the therapeutic aspects of the impact of art on a person as a means of overcoming such traumas, which gives grounds to assert the importance of taking into account theatrical discourse for Trauma studies, a relevant area of humanitarian research.
