Illusionism as an artistic practice in the context of media transformations of modern creative industries

The purpose of the present article is to explore the specific artistic practice of illusionism in the context of contemporary media transformations within the creative industries. In addition, the role of illusionism in the creative economy will be defined, and the mechanisms of interaction with the audience will be analysed. Finally, the prospects for integration into modern multimedia formats will be outlined. The research methodology is founded upon an interdisciplinary approach, integrating methodologies from cultural, art historical and sociological analysis. The comparative analysis is utilised to examine historical and contemporary manifestations of illusionism; while content analysis is employed to investigate the media portrayal of illusionism within creative industries. Through the amalgamation of synthetic and historical analysis, this methodology facilitates a comprehensive examination of the aforementioned issues and ensures the attainment of reliable research outcomes. The scientific novelty of this study lies in its consideration of illusionism as a full-fledged element of modern creative industries, with implications for the development of interactive media, digital performances and cultural entrepreneurship. The study identifies new ways of adapting illusionary practices in the digital environment and analyses their impact on audiovisual culture. Conclusions. The study concludes that in the 21st century, illusionism is not merely the art of deception or pretence, but is a multifaceted field that is integrated into modern creative industries, transforming the manner in which people interact with visual culture. At the present stage, mediated by numerous and digital technologies, it continues to evolve, finding new applications in entertainment, technology and social life. The ongoing development of illusionism is closely linked to the emergence of innovative technologies and novel formats for interacting with viewers, positioning it as one of the most promising branches of modern creative industries.
