The purpose of the study is to identify and analyse the impact of the Jewish community on the cultural space of Lutsk during the post-Soviet period, outline key trends in intercultural interaction, and explore the role of Jewish heritage in shaping urban identity. Special attention is given to the study of public initiatives aimed at restoring historical monuments, synagogue renovations, and museum projects that contribute to the preservation of Jewish cultural memory in Lutsk. Research methodology. The research is based on an interdisciplinary approach, combining methods of historical analysis, cultural studies, and sociological surveys. The empirical foundation includes scholarly works, archival documents, media materials, and interviews with representatives of the Jewish community and experts in cultural heritage. Additionally, field research and visual analysis of architectural monuments are employed to track changes in their condition and transformations within the urban environment. The scientific novelty of this study lies in its comprehensive analysis of Lutsk’s cultural space through the lens of Jewish presence and its influence on the city’s contemporary development. Special emphasis is placed on the processes of preserving Jewish heritage and integrating it into the broader urban context. Another important aspect is the examination of modern initiatives aimed at popularising Jewish culture through festivals, exhibitions, and educational activities. Conclusions. The Jewish community plays a significant role in shaping Lutsk’s cultural landscape, fostering intercultural dialogue, and preserving historical memory. Despite demographic decline, cultural initiatives and projects aimed at promoting Jewish heritage continue to influence the city’s modern identity. The study highlights the importance of collaboration between local authorities, public organisations, and international foundations in supporting Jewish cultural heritage.
