The purpose of the work is to establish the specificity of the criteria of individual performance style in the conditions of choral art and to describe, based on them, the methods of analysis of the individual performance style of the conductor-choirmaster. The research methodology is related to the analysis and systematisation of information about individual performance style; the study is built according to deductive logic – from general information about the performance style to the specification of its specific features in the conditions of choral conducting. The scientific novelty of the research consists in identifying the specifics of the components of the individual performance style of the conductor-choirmaster and presenting, based on them, the method of analysis of the individual performance style of the conductor-choirmaster. Conclusions. As a result of the research, a methodology for analysing the individual performance style of the conductor-choirmaster is proposed, which is a description of the sequence of actions of the researcher studying this phenomenon, as well as a description of the sources he relies on at one or another stage of the research work. The methodology provides for the analysis of the substantive and formal levels of the individual performing style of the conductor-chorusmaster, as well as the analysis of the features of interaction in the “conductor-chorus collective” system. The description of the substantive level of the individual performing style, which depends on the artist’s creative method, involves the analysis of the features of the worldview, creative thinking of the conductor-chorusmaster, his personal and professional qualities. The methodology allows for an orderly and systematic analysis of the formal level of the individual performing style – a system of performing techniques and means inherent in a particular conductor-chorusmaster.
