Abstract

The purpose of the research is to analyse the main components of the image in the context of the synergy between artistry and vocal art. Research methodology. The article applies an interdisciplinary approach that allows the use of scientific research from musicology, public relations, aesthetics, pedagogy, and theatrical art. The following scientific methods were applied: historical-comparative (to reveal the historical evolution of the concept of image), analytical method (to highlight components of the stage image), and generalisation (to study the main approaches to the synthesis of artistry and vocals). Scientific novelty of the article lies in revealing the image as a category synthesising artistry and vocals, and in identifying their components — authenticity, intensity, emotionality. Conclusions. Thus, the image acts as a key tool combining the technical mastery of the vocalist with their emotional and stage expression. By analysing historical context, theoretical approaches, and practical examples of Ukrainian and foreign performers, the article emphasises the importance of balancing the rational (vocal technique) and the irrational (artistry, emotions) in creating a stage persona. It also highlights components of the image such as specificity, intensity, variability, and authenticity in combination with actor-vocal training methods that help performers convey the depth of a composition through sensitivity, movement, and stage embodiment.
