The purpose of the article is to identify the features of the artistic interaction between the accompanist and the choreographer in the process of forming the stage culture of a children’s choreographic group; to reveal the mechanisms of synergy of music and movement as a factor in the development of musicality, plastic expressiveness, and the child’s ability to create a stage image. The research methodology. The praxeological method was used to analyse the accompanist’s activity as a process of artistic co-creation in the practical work of a children’s collective; the cognitive method was used to study the mechanisms of formation of musical-motor thinking, emotional response, and stage attention of a child. The axiological method made it possible to determine the value dimension of stage culture as an integrative result of the interaction of music and movement. The empirical method was used to analyse the interaction of the accompanist and choreographer in the educational process. The structural-functional method was used to identify the relationships between musical, plastic and emotional-communicative elements in the formation of the stage culture of the performer. The scientific novelty lies in the definition of accompanist activity as an act of artistic co-creation with a choreographer in the process of forming stage culture in a children’s choreographic group. The role of the accompanist as a co-creator of the stage image, which forms the emotional and plastic unity of the choreographic action through music and contributes to the development of stage thinking of young performers, is theoretically substantiated. Conclusions. The formation of children’s stage culture in choreographic groups is the result of the synergy of music and movement, which is realised in the creative interaction of the accompanist and the choreographer. The accompanist in this context acts as a co-author of the artistic concept of the production, who, together with the choreographer, forms the musical dramaturgy, tempo, dynamics, and emotional relief of the dance. Modern accompanist activity in children’s choreographic groups is based on an individual creative approach, integration of digital technologies and partnership with the choreographer, which ensures the formation of stage culture as a holistic manifestation of the child’s artistic personality.
