Teaching of Actors Students to Work with Vocal Material in Further Professional Activity: Pedagogical Tasks

Abstract

The purpose of the study is to analyse the basic needs, problems, and challenges of professional activity of the actor related to vocal performance, to form a comprehensive and sound list of pedagogical tasks for the teacher of vocal disciplines of theatrical universities. Methodology. In the process of consideration of the topic, a method of comparative analysis and theoretical generalisation was applied to compare different approaches to the formation of vocal competences in theatrical and musical-pedagogical practice. The article uses the method of pedagogical observation to identify the typical difficulties of students in the process of mastering the skills of stage singing. Analysis of pedagogical experience to generalise effective methods of teacher work with future actors. The scientific novelty of the investigation is that with the help of theoretical and practical analysis, the aspect of the pedagogical work of the vocalist teacher with actor students was considered. Conclusions. It is revealed that the correct pedagogical approach of teachers of musical (vocal) disciplines forms a stable base for the work of an actor with voice, musical material, and plays a significant role in maintaining and maintaining the professional health of the actor. The tasks facing the teacher during classes to maximise the effectiveness in the formation of vocal skills, skills and competencies of the actor are clarified. It has been found that the direct functional connection of stage singing and stage speech plays a key role in the complex language-voice training of actors. Research materials of the article will be useful in the formation of methodological recommendations, work programmes of educational disciplines and repertoire plans of students of acting specialties.
