Abstract

The purpose of the research is to reveal the main vectors of activity of public associations in representing Ukrainian choreographic art on the international arena in the period 2024–2026. Methodology. The research uses the following general scientific methods: the method of analysis (to identify the main areas of activity of Ukrainian public associations in representing national choreographic art on the international arena) and the comparative one (to consider the main charitable initiatives of various artistic associations in 2024–2026). The scientific novelty lies in highlighting the main vectors of activity of public associations in representing Ukrainian choreographic art on the international arena (2024–2026) as a form of cultural diplomacy at the non-governmental level. Conclusions. Thus, nowadays in the complex socio-economic conditions, state image and forming its positive brand in the global space, play an important role and are the tools of the cultural diplomacy. Despite the formalisation of this domain and the emphasis in scientific thought on government structures or state institutions (theatres, libraries, national collectives), civil society is one of the important factors, which is manifested in the form of artistic groups, ensembles, and public organisations that represent examples of national culture through art practices. Our research is devoted to the choreographic associations, in particular the cultural practices of the ‘Barvinok’, ‘Sonetchko’, ‘Prolisok’, the public organisation ‘Global Social Impact Creative Hub’, and the international association ‘Ukrainian Dance World’. Based on the example of these groups’ activities, four areas of their practices can be distinguished: promoting national interests, building relationships, cooperation, and the synthesis of cultural and artistic practices with volunteer and charitable initiatives.
