Information on fees for the processing and publication of articles
An article fee is a fee that authors pay to the journal to cover the costs of editing, peer-reviewing, and publishing articles, printing, database registration, open access content storage, distribution of mandatory copies to libraries in Ukraine, and the assignment of an international digital identifier (DOI).
The author pays UAH 500 for the publication of an article in the scientific journal ‘National Academy of Managerial Staff of Culture and Arts Herald’. A printed copy is included in the price.
Academic, academic-pedagogical, and pedagogical staff and postgraduate students of the National Academy of Culture and Arts Management are entitled to a 50% discount on the publication fee for articles in the journal (i.e. they pay UAH 250).
In compliance with the Order on Payment for Publications in scientific Specialist Journals of the National Academy of Culture and Arts Management No. 20-0 dated 04.03.2026, the following are exempt from any payment (fees) for an article:
- students pursuing a tertiary education degree under the state-funded programme (regardless of the higher education institution), who have authored articles independently (without co-authors);
- members of the journal’s editorial board.
Important! Payment is only accepted following successful peer review and acceptance of the article for publication in the journal; the editorial board will notify the author of this via email, providing the payment details for the publication fee. An electronic copy of the payment receipt must be sent to the editorial board’s email address.
