Purpose of the article is to the source fund and research on theatrical life Podolsky edge isolate features musical and theatrical life given period, play little-known pages of the contemporary artistic process. Methodology. The method used in the article logically synthesis, which allows you to identify qualitative features of the local artistic life of Podolia in this period. Scientific novelty is that the first systematic study reflected the theatrical life skirts above period, in the light of the functioning theater companies. Conclusions. In the XIX century, essential for the theatrical life of the region was the work in the field of dramatic art representatives of the Polish nation. In particular, it was the Poles the initiators of the first theatrical performances. Thre mentioned issue has contributed to the emergence, development, and operation of mixed (Polish-Russian, Polish-Russian-Ukrainian) and with time and Ukrainian theater company. All this created the basis for further development of theatrical culture skirts.
