Abstract

We propose an advanced technology of wheel blanks stamping, which are used for rolling of railway wheels of various types. The technology provides self-centering of blanks in the molding dies, obtained by preliminary sag and distillation of the initial blanks, including the combination of these operations on a single press, as well as the elimination of the asymmetry of wheel blanks
