Various methods of control for matrix converter (MC), such as pulse-width modulation (PWM) converter in the matrix and vector approach were revied. Thus, the vector approach allows the maximum transfer efficiency of the MC, control the power factor regardless of load power factor, full use of the input voltage, the possibility of reducing the number of switches in each switching cycle period switchingReferences
