Systematization of the quality assessment of the transportation process during passenger transportation

The article analyzes the existing systems for assessing the quality of the transportation process in passenger road transport. The rating of the leading experts of the transport industry is investigated.Regarding the criteria for the quality of transport used by carriers. One of the dominant factors of market success is the quality of transport. The level of quality should be established through assessment. It is necessary forsubstantiation of decisions made during: comprehensive study of the transport services market;assessing the prospects for the implementation of services on the market, setting and adjusting tariffs;monitoring the quality of services; preparing information for commercials; working outcorrective, preventive and improving measures; determining the winners of the competition for bus service; implementation of management systemsquality of service in accordance with the requirements.Analysis of the considered indicators quality of passenger transport service allows you to do the following сonclusions: specialists in assessing the quality of urban passenger transport services present differently the constituent elements of quality as a multicriteria result; proposed the authors of the criteria for the effectiveness of urban passenger transport functioning are different in their substantive essence; most indicators do not determine the actual level of transport services, as they characterize the results of the work of individual parts of the urban passenger transport system and do not reflect passengers’ requirements for the quality of the transportation process; many indicators require difficultly outstanding information andsignificant amount of computational work, which complicates the planning process quality of transportation; the variety of existing quality assessment approaches requiresdevelopment of effective and correct methods based on more modern apparatuses of calculations based on uniform principles, and determination of adequate criteria and quality indicatorsReferences
