Construction of parametric models of belt-drive using АРМ Winmachine

It is appropriate to use the parametrization mechanisms and construct an integrated model on the basis of uniform calculation data form for the whole range of the details, characterized by similar forms and design. Based on this the designing becomes more efficient, as it covers the construction in 2D - drawing and graphics editingprogram and the modeling in 3D - editing program. The promising Russian software product АРМ WinMachine, equipped with parameterization facilities of its own design, interface with two data windows (the window of variables and the command window) is adapted to the instruments of the designer. The article presents the process of the open designing of belt-drives of metal-cutting machine tools on the basis of the designed parametric model. The algorithms of parameterization of V-belt pulleys and V-ribbed transmissions were presented. The comprehensive designing and simulation in ARM Graph and ARM Studio modules were implemented, which significantly reduce the time of the designing of parts and machine components
