Graphical interface of the educational project portfolio

The Teacher Portfolio is an individual folder where his personal professional achievements in educational activities, theresults of training, education and development of his students, his contribution to the development of educational system are recorded. The Portfolioenablesthe teacherto demonstrate not only the resultsof his practical activities,which he considers to be the most relevantfor assessinghis professionalcompetence,but also the progress in comparison to his previousresults. In the process of being created a portfolio can increase in volume, and its structure can branch off, so if no special measures are taken, the search for documents in this portfolio will be slow, and therefore the work with the portfolio will be difficult. To avoid these inconveniences in a complex portfolio there should be used automation that will allow for quick selection, search and examination of documents and, if necessary, their editing. The use ofautomationis possiblethrough the creation of an interface of a Portfolio. The article deals with the peculiarities of creating of a Portfolio interface of an educational project. Criteria for the design of interfaces and possible styles of a Portfolio interface of an educational project are presented. Comparisons of abilities of portfolio interfaces created with the use of different technologies are conducted; required portfolio interface functions that will ensure its practical application, are enumerated; software environment required for creating a portfolio interface is considered; the analysis of general portfolio interface design is made.
