Modern methods for determining and prognosis of the risk of medical equipment take into account the only stochastic uncertainty in measuring information on safety index characteristics, which limit the reliability of obtained evaluation of risks possibilities.
It is shown that in the existence of linguistic uncertainty, the increase of risk evaluation accuracy and safety of medical equipment can be achieved through the development of methods for the determination and prognosis of risk on the basis of inaccurate processing of measuring information.
We propose a method for prediction the risk in incubators for newborns based on inaccurate processing of air temperature measuring data in the children's compartment. The presented results of theoretical and experimental investigations confirm the hypothesis of the possibility of increasing the reliability of the risk evaluation using inaccurate processing of measuring data on medical equipment safety.
