The theoretical analysis of temperature reduction in grinding the rigid and elastic schemes. It is shown that when grinding therigid scheme to reduce the temperature without the performance of processing can be achieved by reducing the apparent stress of cutting (byincreasing the cutting capacity of the circle and reduce the intensity of the friction in the cutting zone) and time of contact with the fixedcircle section of the workpiece (through periodic interruption of the process grinding in order to cool the workpiece). Found that the elasticgrinding circuit can reduce the temperature by reducing the speed of the circle, the normal pressure in the cutting area and time of contactwith the fixed circle section of the workpiece. A comparison of the temperature at surface grinding and the end of the circle and found thatgrinding butt circle due to the increased length of contact with the workpiece range temperature lower. It is shown that increase the lengthof the contact circle with the part when surface grinding circle can create the conical part of its surface. In this case, the conditional radiusgrinding can be infinitely increased, which, in fact, have led to the end face grinding wheel. This creates objective conditions reduce thetemperature to the temperature level of the end face grinding circle, which is confirmed by the results of experimental studies of the processcone-grinding wheel. In this case, the area to be treated no burn marks and cracks, which provide significant improvement of the quality oftreatment. We also show that the effect of the application of the cone in a circle round grinding significantly lower than in surface grindingReferences
