Електрохімічна характеристика та мікроструктура сплаву Ti-6Al-7Nb відцентровим литтям для ортопедичного імплантату на основі варіації часу старіння

Альтернативний сплав Ti-6Al-7Nb набув значного прогресу завдяки своїй здатності усувати цитотоксичність ванадію (V) у сплаві Ti-6Al-4V для ортопедичних імплантатів. Виробництво титанових сплавів методом відцентрового лиття демонструє значний потенціал для зниження витрат. Термічна обробка та старіння можуть адаптувати мікроструктуру та покращити корозійну стійкість титанових сплавів. У цьому дослідженні досліджується вплив різного часу старіння на мікроструктуру та корозійну стійкість відцентрово литого сплаву Ti-6Al-7Nb, який попередньо нагрівали та обробили при температурі 1050 °C, а потім охолоджували до кімнатної температури в атмосфері аргону. Старіння проводили при температурі 550 °C зі змінним часом 0, 4, 6 і 8 годин. Морфологію поверхні, фазові зміни металу та електрохімічну характеристику перевіряли за допомогою оптичного мікроскопа, рентгенівської дифракції, потенціодинамічної поляризації та спектроскопії електрохімічного імпедансу. Мікроструктура переплетення кошика формується там, де відбувається глобуляризація на деяких фазах у міру збільшення часу старіння. Збільшення значення α повної ширини на половині максимуму корелює зі збільшенням кількості мартенситної фази α'. У міру того, як час старіння збільшується, температура може запропонувати більше рушійне обмеження для зародження та розширення пластинчастої фази (α). Старіння протягом 8 годин має найнижчу швидкість корозії, 0,0023 mpy, і найвищу корозійну стійкість, 90457 Ω∙cm2, завдяки частково бімодальній структурі та подрібненню зерна з найменшим розміром зерна 327,87 мкм. Результати поляризації за Тафелем показують, що всі пасивовані зразки стабільні в розчинній рідині. Ця робота може бути використана як відправна точка для розробки еволюції мікроструктури в титанових сплавах
