Mathematical simulation of the control process over water distribution in the tiers of the scrubber of blast-furnace gas wet cleaning

The pipeline of water distribution, ramified for each of the tiers of the scrubber, has been examined, as an object of control. Scrubber is intended for cleaning blast-furnace gas. The input values for this object are pressure and common amount of water that is supplied to the scrubber. The output values are pressure and amount of water before the sprayers on each tier. To clean the gas effectively it is necessary to keep the pre-set values of output parameters on each of the tiers constant. According to the technology of cleaning blast-furnace gas the water pressure before the sprayers must be for all the tiers identical and twice that blast furnace gas, and its common amount for the scrubber is determined by the correlation 4-6 l. of water for 1м3 of gas. To provide such terms it is necessary to find mathematical dependence between the input and output parameters of this object. To receive such a dependence the method of calculation of complex type pipelines is used with branching and water distribution in end points. It made it possible to get the mathematical model of an object as a system of algebraic equations. The system contains the pressure differentials of water for all the tiers of the scrubber, water constant amount for each tier and corresponding coefficients of linear losses of pressure along the length of vertical pipeline. The solution of this system gives an opportunity to find the water pressure differentials for each tier. Stabilizing these pressure differentials provides stabilizing preset water parameters (pressure and amount) on each tier of the scrubber. The obtained mathematical model of the object can be the basis for development of automatic control system of water distribution. Such system will keep pressure and water consumption constant for the tiers of the scrubber at pre-set level and will provide the effective cleaning of blast-furnace gas, without regard to his pressure and charges fluctuation.
