The structural state of Е36 steel was investigated after heat-treatment regime which includes isothermal holding at the subcritical temperatures and subsequent normalization. It is shown the absence of the ferrite-pearlite bands and refinement of the steel microstructure after the proposed regime in respect to the standard normalization. The obtained results were explained as a consequence of the chemistry elements homogenization by their grain boundary diffusion during the isothermal holdingReferences
