The paper reveals the political and legal mechanisms of action of restored Polish state on the functioning of primary, secondary and higher education in Eastern Galicia and Western Volhynia in the interwar period. The main attention author pays to structure's changes of educational institutions and teachers and lecturers staff in the region during the process of Rich Pospolita II assimilation policies. It is separately shown institutional and procedural mechanisms of opposition, especially by Ukrainian ethnic community, of realization of state polonization policy in educational sphere.Downloads
