Abstract

The article is devoted to the dynamics of the evolution of musical instruments in the context of the "timbral space" theory. The author interprets instruments not only as the aesthetical phenomenon, but as technical devices – organological projection of the human body. Expansion of the sonoric body of an instrument considered as the manifestation of the immanent logic of media-reality. The main factors of the evolution of musical instruments as a form of media are identified. Tembrology of musical instruments appears as an subject of technical standardization, which is typical for media-culture.
