• to define the meaning of mediated factors in the formation of artistic tastes of young Fedir Strygun;
• to analyze the factors of direct influence of relatives and theatrical figures of Ukrainian culture on the creative consciousness of the artist.
The mediated factors of direct influence refer the so-called "spirit of the age" (G. Hegel), that Fedir Strygun was called to develop the theatrical art. The factors of direct influence on the creative consciousness of the young artist are the first spectator and acting lessons at school and in the rural institutions of culture, also the perception of the favorite teachers experience, different kinds of performances, including amateur acting and directing. In this research, influencing factors of formation the theatrical talent, worldview, Fydir Strygun's mentality,aesthetic values, inner world are viewed through the prism of his childhood and early interests, as well as inner and artistic life of his family and homeland – Cherkasy region.
The artist was born on the 1st of November 1939 in the village Tomashovka, Uman district, Cherkasy region. This Taras Shevchenko's place is known for heroic deeds of great ancestors – Baida Vishnevetsky, Severin Nalivaiko, Semen Paliy, Bohdan Khmelnytskyi, Petro Doroshenko, Ivan Sirko, Maxim Zaliznyak, that were sung by the great Fedir Strygun's countryman – Taras Shevchenko. Fedir Strygun childhood has passed in such region under the influence of the Cossacks spirits and Taras Shevchenko's poetry characters. Later in his work he will repeatedly refer to ethnic characters of native Cherkasy region and will create artistic characters of prototypes of the countrymen heroic figures in his roles and performances.
There are a lot of historical heroic roles in personal works of the artist. Among them there are Ivan Mazepa
based on the novel "Mazepa" by B. Lepkyi, Bohdan Khmelnytsky from the novel of O. Korniychuk and Ivan Gonta from the poem "Haydamaky" by T. Shevchenko. The family of Fedir Strygun had significant influence on the formation of his personality, ideals of life and moral principles.
The father of F. Strygun was a good musician and he has given his love for music to his son and has taught him to play on many musical instruments, particularly the accordion. The rules and principles of morality that were laid in the Strygun’s family shaped his national consciousness, instilled national values such as love for his native land, his people, the willingness to work for the country. The formation of his worldview was promoted by learning in a rural school, where small Fedir went to study, immediately after the end of war in 1946.
The significant factor in the formation process of F. Strygun personality was authority of school teachers, in particular Peter Romaniuk.
The first lessons of dramatic art Fedir Strygun received in the village club, where his father was the director. Then, on the village stage in amateur theatre, F. Strygun made his first attempts as a stage-director. Favorite works of such prominent Ukrainian writers as M. Kropivnitsky, I. Karpenko-Karyi inspired him in the creation of scenic characters. That's why he began to show staging of the Ukrainian classics and tried to teach actors to play. A real revolution in the child consciousness of the young men has made a movie "Nazar Stodolia" of V. Ivchenko in 1954, which was shown in the Ukrainian language. Thus, in the article it is emphasized two main groups of factors that have led to the appearance of Fedir Strygun’s persistent aspiration to express himself and his own talent in the theatrical art.
