These methods allowed to find out the stages of the development of the antiquity on the background of the historical processes in the region. Scientific novelty. The
scientific novelty of the investigation lies in the fact that the article is the first scientific studying of the antiquity with the aim of analysis, scientific reconstruction and further restoration of the iconostasis. Conclusions. The researching of the historic material and comparative analysis gave the author an opportunity to find out that the oldest part of the iconostasis belonged to the first half of the 18th century, the next one can be dated back to 1758, and the last intrusion had happened in 1830, when iconostasis had been transferred to the present masonry church.
