Several recent studies show that more attention is paid to optimization processes when organizing and planning the work of transport systems. Earlier, time of traffic was subject to optimization; today it concerns costs of transportation of cargos and passengers. That is why, the specialists' attention was focused on the development of transport systems that provide minimum cost of transportation of passengers and cargos.
The article focuses on the formation of a rational transport network that minimizes the cost of transportation of passengers and cargo. Namely, the creation of a mathematical model for determination of the costs associated with the traffic of transport and pedestrian flow.
As result of the research, we may argue that the accurate mathematical model of the cost of the transportation of passengers and cargos gives a more accurate result by taking into account the width of the roadway, which in turn depends on the traffic flowReferences
