The formation of carbonized carbon-carbon composite materials with a specified structure and physicomechanical properties is an important task; and the methods of calculation of technological modes of obtaining such materials are of great scientific interest. The study aims to create the low-density carbon-carbon composite material based on carbon fibers and phenol-formaldehyde binder with the introduction of organic expanding agents. The use of the organic expanding agents permitted to produce the composite materials with controlled density of 0,4 ... 0,8 ∙ 103 kg/m3. The basic technological properties of the expanding agents were studied and the formula to produce carbon materials with predetermined properties was recommended. This approach of carbonization of the low-density carbon-carbon composite materials with the expanding agents permits to develop rational modes of production of products of different dimensions and forms, used for heat-insulation of electrovacuum equipment.References
