Welcome address from the rector of the SHEI «PSTU», Dr. Sc., professor Olena V. Khadzhynova to the readers of the journal

It is an honor to address you with sincere greetings and to present the 50th anniversary issue of the journal «Reporter of the Priazovskyi State Technical University. Section: Technical Sciences». This issue is particularly special as it marks the 30th anniversary of the journal's founding.

The publication began its history on April 10, 1995. This was preceded by a significant scientific breakthrough at the university: the formation of scientific schools, the presence of experienced researchers, a strong printing base, and a desire to share research results with the world.

Since 1997, the publication has been officially included in the list of specialized journals, and since 2020, it has been categorized as "B."

The journal covers a wide range of technical sciences, including engineering, automation, energy, metallurgy, materials science, biomedical engineering, computer science, electronics, transport, environmental protection technologies, and more. This diversity allows for the unification of specialists from different corners of Ukraine and the world, fostering interdisciplinary exchange of ideas.

Over the years, more than 2,500 articles have been published, containing the results of fundamental research, practical developments, and ideas that gradually shape the modern technical landscape both in Ukraine and beyond its borders.

The editorial board of the journal includes well-known, highly qualified scientists, including researchers from leading universities in Ukraine, the United Kingdom, the United States, Greece, Egypt, and Poland. This representation allows the journal to consistently maintain a high level of peer review and uphold its authority within the scientific community.

Like the entire scientific community, the journal faced the full-scale aggression and military actions in 2022. Despite the extremely challenging circumstances, the editorial board not only maintained the regular publication of the journal twice a year but also ensured the publication of nearly 150 scientific articles. This gives every reason to assert that the fiftieth issue is just another milestone in the development of the journal!
